Air Combat Command, Department of the Air Force, seeks a Transportation Assistant (Personal Property/OA) to advise military and civilian personnel on entitlements for shipment and storage of personal property and vehicles, with movement domestically or internationally. The primary purpose of this position is: To provide information and advice to military and civilian personnel regarding their entitlements for shipment and storage of personal property. Movement of personal property can either be domestic or international.
Counsels all authorized military and civilian employees of their entitlements for shipment and storage of personal property and privately owned vehicles, including specialized items, to domestic and overseas locations. Prepares and processes applications for transportation or storage of a wide range of personal property and privately owned vehicles, including special items, of authorized civilian and military members.
Plans and processes DITY incentive moves for payment through the local Finance office. Utilizes word processing software and printing equipment to create, copy, edit, and print a variety of standardized documents. Performs other clerical and administrative tasks in support of the transportation work.

Official transcripts are not required at the time of application; however, if position has a positive degree requirement, qualifying based on education alone or in combination with experience, transcripts must be verified prior to appointment. An accrediting institution recognized by the U.S.
Department of Education must accredit education. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

The posted pay range is $46084 - $59908/yr.
