Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for scheduling customer-pickup shipments.

• Compile and distribute daily reports.
• Communicate with transportation service providers and dock staff to secure appointments.
• Participate in the company safety program.

What you’ll do

• Primary point of contact for scheduling customer-pickup shipments
• Communicate with transportation, truck staging, customer service and warehouse contacts to facilitate flow of current and accurate information to aid in streamlining supply chain efficiency
• Compile and distribute multiple daily reports
• Directly communicate with transportation service providers
• Schedule inbound deliveries and communicate with docks on securing appointments
• Active participation in the company safety program is required.

What we’re looking for

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years transportation or relevant experience required.
• Experience working with transportation service providers.
• Preferred experience in cold-chain, food distribution or food manufacturing industry.
• Experience working with a TMS required, OTM preferred
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience required.
• Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Due to the significant amount of steps/stairs contained in our production facility, employees must have the ability to navigate steps/stairs in a safe manner.
