Qualifications

  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.

  • Flex schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
  • Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
  • Experience with process improvements (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field.
  • Industry experience in retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production or distribution environments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including root cause analysis.
  • Streamline logistics with standard work and team leadership.
  • Support and commit to safety programs and OSHA compliance for a safe work environment.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
  • Mentor and manage hourly workforce; ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities

You and your team of Transportation Associates are responsible for Amazon customers receiving their orders. You are responsible for ensuring that you have properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs. Support, mentor, and motivate the hourly workforce. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. In addition, one of the most important aspects of your job is to lead change at internet speed because innovation has made us the global company that we are today.

Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
