Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Architect in Florida to lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate complex projects, and ensure code-compliant design documentation.

You will contribute to design and delivery of transportation spaces and facilities while leveraging Revit and related tools. The role requires strong communication, a track record in architectural documentation, and collaboration with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 5+ years of experience.
• Registered Architect with strong design and detailing skills.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team and produce project documentation.
• Coordinate work across phases and ensure code compliance.
• Manage owner/client meetings and reviews with agencies.
• Conduct site work sessions with Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule.
• Review architectural documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
• Perform QA/QC and technical reviews; write specifications.
• Coordinate with affected disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders.
• Lead projects in dual management roles as needed.
• Provide construction contract administration as needed.
