The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and comfortable travel while also managing security protocols for events and personal engagements. This dual-role position requires exceptional driving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong background in security operations.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced route planning tactics utilizing real-time traffic data, and other available sources to ensure safe travel routes for high-level events and meetings.
- Support the Global Security Team in developing and implementing initiatives for vehicle fleet management, ensuring the highest standards of operational readiness and efficiency.
- Maintain a high-level of confidentiality and discretion regarding VIP’s activities and conversations.
- Assist in conducting thorough security assessments for event venues and surrounding areas, helping to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Assist with implementing security plans and protocols to ensure the safety of attendees.
- Collaborate with event organizers, law enforcement, and other security personnel to manage security operations effectively.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Provide security and operational support for executives and clients during events, ensuring their safety and well-being include risk mitigation and crisis response.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter potential threats.
- Prepare post-event security reports and provide recommendations for future improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an executive driver and/or in event security.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Proven experience in security operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- The ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Ability to travel as needed for events.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Desired Characteristics
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize issues and create solutions.
- Proven experience in event security, preferably in high-profile environments.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self-starter with a can-do attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
