We are seeking a highly professional and experienced a Transportation and Event Security Specialist to provide top-tier transportation and security services for our executives and high-profile clients. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and comfortable travel while also managing security protocols for events and personal engagements. This dual-role position requires exceptional driving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong background in security operations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced route planning tactics utilizing real-time traffic data, and other available sources to ensure safe travel routes for high-level events and meetings.
  • Support the Global Security Team in developing and implementing initiatives for vehicle fleet management, ensuring the highest standards of operational readiness and efficiency.
  • Maintain a high-level of confidentiality and discretion regarding VIP’s activities and conversations.
  • Assist in conducting thorough security assessments for event venues and surrounding areas, helping to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Assist with implementing security plans and protocols to ensure the safety of attendees.
  • Collaborate with event organizers, law enforcement, and other security personnel to manage security operations effectively.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
  • Provide security and operational support for executives and clients during events, ensuring their safety and well-being include risk mitigation and crisis response.
  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter potential threats.
  • Prepare post-event security reports and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an executive driver and/or in event security.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
  • Proven experience in security operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
  • The ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • Ability to travel as needed for events.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize issues and create solutions.
  • Proven experience in event security, preferably in high-profile environments.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self-starter with a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, for applicants who are not asylees, refugees, lawful permanent residents or U.S. Citizens (i.e., not a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), otherwise known as a U.S. Person), final offers will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
