Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a Transportation Specialist to coordinate North American freight, manage data and carriers, and drive continuous improvement. The role reports to the Domestic Transportation Director and offers a hybrid work arrangement, with offices in Fort Worth, Groveport, Sparks, or Franklin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 3+ years in transportation, logistics, shipping, or related operations.
• Familiar with equipment sizes, modes of transport and fleet operations.
• Ability to analyze transportation data to identify cost, service, and operational improvements.
• Strong organization, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation performance, freight spend, service trends, carrier scorecards, and metrics to identify cost reduction and network optimization opportunities.
• Develop and maintain transportation reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision-making.
• Support transportation projects by conducting data analysis, documenting requirements, testing solutions, and measuring results.
• Assist with transportation system enhancements, ERP, TMS, carrier, and logistics platform upgrades and testing.
• Evaluate transportation processes and workflows and support standardization across domestic and international operations.
• Develop relationships with transportation partners, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain transportation data and documentation within ERP, TMS, carrier, and partner platforms.
• Perform freight audit, invoice review, transportation accruals, reporting, and compliance tasks.
• Provide analytical support for carrier procurement, service reviews, and contract performance.
• Lead shipment visibility, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve execution and service.
• Provide backup support for international transportation activities including air, ocean, import/export.
