Aviata Health Group is seeking a compassionate Transportation Aide to join our team in Florida. You will transport residents to medical appointments, assist with daily living tasks, and provide companionship to ensure residents’ wellbeing within our skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities include assisting with dining, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, while observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Florida CNA license is required.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential duties.
• Respectful care for seniors and their property.
• Friendly, clear communication with clients; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to doctors' appointments, activities, and events.
• Assist with daily living tasks including personal care and meals.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in conversations.
• Assist with light housekeeping and medication reminders.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report promptly.
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Escort residents to dining and assist with meals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Transport residents to doctors' appointments, activities, and social events
• Assist with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and conversation to residents
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and medication reminders
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assist with dining, including escorting residents to the dining room and serving meals
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Florida CNA license
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
