Transportation Aide – Full-Time

Who Are You?

You are a reliable and professional Transportation Aidewith a heart for service and safety. You bring a calm presence and a friendly attitude while ensuring that our residents are transported with care, dignity, and punctuality. You take pride in every trip—whether you’re heading to a medical appointment, a community event, or assisting with daily errands.

A Day in the Life:

  • Safely transport residents to medical appointments, scheduled events, or errands

  • Assist residents with boarding and exiting vehicles, securing seatbelts, personal items, and wheelchairs

  • Provide support during appointments, including remaining with residents when necessary

  • Communicate clearly with residents regarding transportation schedules and appointment reminders

  • Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, cleanliness, and report any maintenance needs

  • Deliver resident packages, messages, or assist with errands as needed

  • Assist with minor clerical tasks, including answering phones and taking messages

  • Observe and report resident condition changesto appropriate licensed staff

  • Provide Concierge supportwhen needed

  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Valid Kansas Driver’s Licenseand clean driving record required

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)and CPR Certificationrequired

  • High school diploma or GEDpreferred

  • Must pass a physical examand meet vaccination and TB screeningrequirements

  • Strong communication skills and patience in working with senior populations

  • Previous office or clerical experience preferred
