Job summary

Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions is seeking a dedicated Transport Support Worker to assist families in the child welfare system. You will provide transportation and visitation support, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and coordinate with other agencies to promote child well‑being.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in child and family services, with evening availability required and a weekend shift at least one day.

A Day in the Life as a Transport Support Worker

As a Transport Support Worker, you will provide transportation and visitation support for children and families involved in the child welfare system. You’ll play a critical role in promoting the well‑being of children, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and coordinate with other agencies providing Permanency Services.

We’re looking for a compassionate, eager-to-learn individual who is passionate about helping families in times of crisis. You'll work to build healthy, long‑lasting relationships by connecting families to resources that improve their lives. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are a must, as well as flexibility, punctuality, and a commitment to advocacy for children and their families. Evening availability is required for at least one day a week.
