Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in Chester, PA is hiring a Transport Specialist to safely manage local deliveries and support packaging during downtime. The role requires physical stamina, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate a delivery van.

You will interact with clients and vendors professionally, adhere to all laws and company policies, and contribute to efficient warehouse and retail operations in a fast-paced cannabis distribution setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
• Interact with clients and vendors in a professional and positive manner.
• Support Packaging department in assembling products and packaging during downtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience in order/package delivery required.
• Must be able to stand for at least 6 hours per day and lift up to 50pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van.
• Must be able to apply for a Cannabis Production Agent Card.
• Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in commercial or work-related driving preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The ability to stay stationairy in a vehicle for long periods of time. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. Able to stand up to 90% of the time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
