Job summary

Verano is seeking a Transport Specialist in Apollo Beach, FL to handle route deliveries, quality packaging support, and safe handling of products. You will interact with clients and vendors in a professional manner.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with cannabis industry regulations. Prior delivery experience is preferred, and you must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in commercial or work-related driving preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The ability to stay stationairy in a vehicle for long periods of time. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. Able to stand up to 90% of the time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
