Job Title: Transport Refrigeration Technician

Interstate Power Systems is looking for experienced Carrier/Thermoking Refrigeration Technician(s) for our Lakeville Minnesota location, we are offering highly competitive wages!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carrier/Thermoking Refrigeration Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and or other transport refrigeration equipment used in various industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Carrier or Thermoking refrigeration systems and possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range- $28.00-$40.00 per hour (Union Scale)

Refrigeration Technician/Mechanic Job Duties

• Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of refrigeration units.
• Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs.
• Quality control work is performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
• Meet requirements for certifications.

Refrigeration Technician/Mechanic Position Requirements

• Valid Driver's license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders)
• Must possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable.
• Must possess an excellent understanding of Carrier or Thermoking Refrigeration.
• Experience with other platforms is a plus.
• Other mechanical skills desired but not essential: Hydraulics, Brakes & Suspension, Manual Transmissions and drive train, automatic transmissions.
