Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Transport Paramedic FSED to join HCA FL Twin Cities Transport.

The role provides advanced critical care during patient transport and partners with first responders at the scene to ensure rapid, high-quality care for patients in transit to the hospital. The Paramedic evaluates patient needs, administers life-saving treatments, and directs EMTs under dynamic conditions to stabilize patients during transport.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification required by start date.
• Associate Degree or Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Operate emergency medical vehicle and respond to calls for aid in emergent situations.
• Evaluate patient condition to establish the right course of treatment.
• Provide a variety of emergency medical treatment to injured, sick, or incapacitated persons.
• Perform invasive procedures under adverse conditions.
• Manage non-medical situations such as crowd control and protecting the valuables of a patient if necessary.
• Lift and transport patients, ensuring patients remain stable during transport.
• Communicate patient data and condition to professional medical personnel at emergency treatment facility.
