Job description
Overview

Support data center initiatives focused on cost savings and network optimization, reporting to designated AT&T planning or management staff.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, verify, and monitor disconnects and decommissioning of legacy systems and circuits, ensuring compliance with AT&T processes.
  • Investigate and validate field reports, cross-checking with internal databases and documentation before any physical changes.
  • Collaborate with planning, provisioning, and operations teams to ensure safe and effective network changes.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, including decom of TDM, DWDM, and legacy transport systems.
Required Skills
  • Deep familiarity with AT&T internal systems (Turks, Granite, Canopy, Nice L/Nice C) and provisioning processes.
  • Experience with layer one transport technologies, especially legacy TDM and DWDM.
  • Ability to act as planner, engineer, and provisioner, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Prior AT&T experience highly preferred; ability to navigate undocumented or complex internal systems.
Other Details
  • Must be able to work independently and communicate findings clearly to management and stakeholders.
  • Will not perform disruptive actions; all work is directed by AT&T management and follows established protocols.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
