Restaurant Associates is seeking a full-time Transport Driver at the SSF Commissary in South San Francisco, CA. The role involves driving a company-owned vehicle along established routes to deliver products and provide service, with morning to afternoon shifts and pay range of $22.00–$24.00 per hour.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior driving experience is preferred.

• Experience with delivering goods and customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to transport requests to meet delivery times.
• Uses dispatch system following established protocols.
• Delivers products and provides excellent customer service during delivery and pickup.
• Completes logs and reports as required.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Reports vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We have an opening for a full time TRANSPORT DRIVER position.

Location: SSF Commissary – 1080 San Mateo Avenue, South San Francisco, CA 94080. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time; Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous commercial vehicle driving experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $22.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Working as a member of the transportation team, this individual will use a company-owned vehicle to deliver products or render services over an established route.

Key Responsibilities

• Responds to transport requests with a sense of urgency, meeting time delivery goals
• Follows department protocols using dispatch system appropriately
• Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Completes necessary logs and reports
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Resolves or reports vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills service/Quality focused to meet a wide range of needs
• Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions
