Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring immediately for a full-time Transport Driver in Fort Worth, TX. The schedule is Monday through Friday; hours may vary. Prior driving experience and a valid driver's license are required.

The role involves delivering products using a company vehicle and providing excellent customer service, with responsibilities including documentation, basic maintenance, and safety compliance. Compensation is a fixed pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills service/quality focused to meet a wide range of needs.
• Valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
• Valid drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain required delivery signatures/receipts; pick up returns, surplus items, furniture, and equipment for repair, redistribution, or disposal; complete emergency deliveries as directed.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, minor repairs, assembly/disassembly, and preventative maintenance of foodservice and warehouse equipment within assigned training and authorization; assist qualified maintenance technicians when needed.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance within assigned scope and training.
• Responds to transport requests with a sense of urgency, meeting time delivery goals
