Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring immediately for a full-time Transport Driver at George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. You will operate a company vehicle to deliver products along a defined route and support the transportation team.

The position requires prior driver experience and a valid driver''s license with a schedule that varies by operational needs and interviews. Pay ranges from $18.60–$19.20 per hour, with full-time benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effective verbal and listening communication to meet a wide range of needs.
• Valid driver''s license and safe operation of company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Responds to transport requests with a sense of urgency, meeting time delivery goals
• Follows department protocols using dispatch system appropriately
• Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Completes necessary logs and reports
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Resolves or reports vehicle, building, security, or safety issues to management
• Performs other duties as assigned

Pay Range: $18.60 per hour to $19.20 per hour.
