Salary Range: $27.00 - $28.00 Hourly

Description

Pay: $27 - $28 per hour

Schedule:

• Night shift opening - 3pm start time
• Full-time (Thursday - Monday, 3pm start time)
• 10-12+ hour shifts depending on workload

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently drive commercial vehicles during specified shifts on a 24/7 work week in all weather conditions
• Load, unload, and move fuels safely from terminal to customer or company locations in a timely manner
• Follow company policies and federal and state regulations
• Keep a safe record regarding accidents, driving record, injuries, and other actions/events, following all safety guidelines
• Maintain clean equipment, uniforms, and cab space; communicate repairs promptly
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for delivery of product, volume, and inventory control
• Use internal systems, handheld devices, and other electronic equipment appropriately
• Follow delivery instructions from dispatchers and managers, maintaining good relationships
• Communicate professionally with team members, management, and customers
• Stay calm and levelheaded in stressful situations, avoiding emotional outbursts
• Embrace new methods, procedures, and changes positively
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and solve problems

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 21 years of age or older
• CDL A required
• Hazmat and tank endorsement (X) strongly preferred and required at hire
• 6-12 months of CDL A truck driving experience preferred
• 12-month clean driving record
• Mechanically inclined
• Good written skills with ability to use computers or handheld devices
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to work weekends
