Palmdale Oil Company LLC is seeking a Transport Fuel Delivery Driver to operate a 53’ tractor-trailer from the Tampa facility within a typical 100-mile radius. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and on-time fuel deliveries.

The successful candidate will hold a Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, a TWIC card, and at least 3 years of verifiable driving experience, with a strong focus on customer service and professional conduct.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates a 53’ tractor-trailer truck as directed, transporting between the facility and multiple destinations. Routes typically within a 100-mile radius of home terminal.
• Prepares, receives and provides documentation for delivery/pick-up of fuels to ensure timely service.
• Delivers fuel and diesel per customer needs and company policies.
• Maintains telephone contact with home terminal/dispatch for instructions or schedule changes.
• Keeps a travel log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company needs.

Transport Fuel Delivery Driver

Palmdale currently operates in more than 50 counties across Florida and provides a wide range of tailored commercial fuel and lubricant solutions to customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, marine, and government sectors. Operating out of 20 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets.

We have an immediate opening at our Tampa location for a CDL Class A with X Endorsement and TWIC card. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast-paced, corporate organization. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude.

The responsibilities of the Class A CDL Route Driver position include:

• Operates a 53’ tractor-trailer truck as directed that transports between the facility and multiple destinations. Typical routes are within a 100-mile radius of the home terminal
• Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of fuels to ensure timely service.
• Makes deliveries of fuel and diesel in accordance with customer needs and company policies.
• Maintains telephone contact with home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintains a log of travel in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company needs.

Job Requirements

The required skills for the Class A CDL Route Driver are:

• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker “X” Endorsement
• TWIC card
• Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience
• Must be licensed to operate the assigned vehicle
• Able to Lift 100 pounds
• Available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations, plus rotating Saturdays as needed

• Positive and Professional Demeanor
• Outstanding Safety Record
• Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations
• Must be able to meet all DOT/Federal and State Requirements for the operation of commercial motor vehicles
