Job summary

Moove is seeking a Transport Driver based in Chicago, IL to safely transport deliveries and follow DOT-regulated procedures. You will load/unload, maintain accurate paperwork, and uphold professional customer service while adhering to schedules.

Requirements include a Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a DOT medical card, and at least 1 year of experience. This regional position offers 1-3 overnights per week with home on weekends, plus competitive benefits, a company cell phone,

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with hazmat & tanker endorsements is required.
• DOT medical card required.
• At least 1 year of driving experience.
• Regional driver with 1-3 overnights per week, home weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transport deliveries safely per company procedures and DOT regulations.
• Follow daily delivery schedule and optimize routes based on customer schedules.
• Load and unload deliveries; capable of lifting up to 65 lbs.
• Obtain and maintain delivery authorizations and documentation, including CODs.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain appearance.
• Ensure orders/documentation are accurate and relayed to management.
• Maintain valid CDL, endorsements and DOT physical card.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change, or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time. All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards. Other duties may be assigned.

• Transport deliveries in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations
• Follow the daily delivery schedule or coordinates the most efficient deliveries by applying knowledge of customer schedules, peak delivery times and alternate routes
• Safely load/unload deliveries - the ability to lift/move up to 65lbs is required
• Obtain and maintain proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation, including CODs and submit in a timely manner
• Provide good customer service and maintain a professional manner and appearance
• Ensure orders and documentation received are accurate
• Ensure customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management
• Maintain valid commercial driver's license, endorsements and DOT physical card
• Perform other related duties as assigned
