Job summary

Primo Brands is seeking a CDL Class A driver in Charlotte, NC to safely operate a semi-trailer and tanker for bulk water deliveries. You will load/unload, follow DOT regs, and coordinate with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries to bottling plants.

The role requires tanker endorsement, clean MVR, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Forklift experience is preferred; weekend/holiday shifts may apply, with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement).
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement required at the time of hire.
• 1–2 years commercial tanker driving experience, minimum 100,000 pound GVW preferred.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): Only one license held, no DUI/DWI, etc. disqualifying offenses.
• Ability to read and interpret information such driving routes, safety rules, tickets, instructions.
• Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb ladders, walk all day, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in various weather.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift and/or pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a semi-trailer/tractor unit with gross vehicle weight of 100,000 lbs to pick up and deliver bulk water to bottling plants.
• Load and unload tanker truck safely.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations; communicate with dispatchers and plant personnel.
• Complete DOT required documents and reports; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain load and freight weight requirements; secure loads before and during transport.
• Operate forklift to unload and reload trailer with products.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Tanker endorsement required at the time of hire
• 1 -2years commercial tanker driving experience, minimum 100,000 pound GVW preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): Only one license held, no DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene of an accident, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accidents, driving-related suspensions, revocations, or cancellations; disqualifying offenses; or reckless driving incidents
• Ability to read and interpret information such driving routes, safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb ladders, walk all day, and move/lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in several types of weather
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift and/or pallet jack preferred
