Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a Transport Aide for evening per diem shifts. You will transport patients within the hospital from admission to discharge, monitor patient condition during transport, and comply with safety policies.

This role requires ability to stand/walk most of shift and perform pushing, pulling and lifting. We offer competitive base rates and a benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance and on-site parking.

The Transport Aide Per Diem Evenings will:

• Transport patients within the various areas of the Hospital from the time of admission until discharge.
• Remain alert to the patient's condition during transport.
• Adhere to Departmental Safety Policy.
• Be responsible for having working knowledge of various medical support equipment and infection control procedures.

• Work requires standing and walking for approximately 75% of the work time.
• Must have ability to perform physical tasks, such as pushing, pulling and lifting.

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
