Job summary

Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for the G101 Specialty Care Transplant Unit to provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg and Solid Organ Transplant patients, with exposure to complex medical histories and innovative procedures.

You will rotate day/evening/night/weekend shifts from 7:00am–7:30pm or 7:00pm–7:30am, collaborate with a dedicated team, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• One-year of current acute care RN experience. Military RN experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
