Job summary

Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Transplant Quality RN Coordinator to lead quality improvement initiatives for Solid Organ Transplant and VAD programs. The role collaborates with inpatient and outpatient teams to translate audit findings into effective performance improvements and sustained practice change.

The position focuses on evaluating performance, ensuring regulatory readiness, and coordinating QAPI activities, audits, and education to support patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Three (3) years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, including OPTN policies and CMS Conditions of Participation.
• Supports development and sustainment of the Quality Management Plan and QAPI for Solid Organ Transplant and VAD Programs.
• Manages document control for policies, SOPs, QAPI plans, and regulatory evidence.
• Develops audits, tracers, and corrective action plans with trend analysis and reporting.
