The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of evaluating and managing pre-kidney and post-kidney transplant patients. Applicants must have additional training or expertise in transplant nephrology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants should be board certified in Nephrology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at the Perelman School of Medicine and at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients in both inpatient and outpatient services as a transplant nephrologist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
