Albany Medical College is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Transplant Nephrologist to join its expanding abdominal transplant program. The role combines transplant nephrology with general nephrology responsibilities within a multidisciplinary academic team.

The ideal candidate will participate in inpatient transplant care, outpatient clinics, and ongoing program expansion, with opportunities in teaching and leadership within Albany Medical College.

Qualifikationen

• Fellowship training in Transplant Nephrology from an accredited program.
• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York state.
• Academic experience or interest sufficient for appointment at Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Aufgaben

• Manage kidney transplant recipients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in inpatient transplant care and multidisciplinary rounds.
• Contribute to post-transplant follow-up and immunosuppression management.
• Engage in outpatient transplant clinics including pre- and post-transplant evaluations.
• Assist in organ offer review and recipient selection discussions as volume grows.
