The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for the Transplant ICU on a rotating schedule, 40 hours per week, on-site at University Hospital.

The APP collaborates with transplant surgeons, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team to provide high-acuity care for adult transplant patients, including liver and kidney recipients, practicing at the top of their license.

Formación

• Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in Ohio.
• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program eligible to sit for national certification.
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing.
• PA-C path requires eligibility for state licensure as PA-C.
• 0 years of relevant experience preferred for both NP and PA tracks.
• Experience in acute care or critical care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides health care services to transplant ICU patients in collaboration with licensed physicians.
• Deliver care during acute and chronic phases, health promotion, and prevention.
• Coordinate perioperative and postoperative care and continuity across the transplant service.
