Job summary

Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant is seeking a Medical ICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator to influence patient care and lead a multidisciplinary team on our 14-bed Transplant ICU in San Antonio. You will coordinate care, support staffing, ensure compliance, and participate in ongoing staff education and safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, Texas RN licensure, at least 1 year as an RN with ICU experience preferred, and BSN is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed in Texas as an RN.
• Texas RN licensure required; TX license within 90 days if entering with a Compact license.
• 1 year minimum RN experience; 3 years ICU RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, personalize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Lead staffing and scheduling to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Ensure policy compliance, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in staff education.
