Job Title and Location

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a full-time, BC/BE Transplant Hepatologist physician for the California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) Transplant Program in San Francisco. Our current Division of Hepatology includes 8 transplant hepatologists engaged in clinical care, research, education, and advocacy.

About California Pacific Medical Center

CPMC is a 274-bed, state-of-the-art hospital located in the heart of San Francisco. It serves as the tertiary and quaternary referral center for over 20 Sutter Health hospitals across Northern California and manages patients through 13 regional liver clinics spanning Northern California and Reno.

  • 2014 Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients: Recognized as the only liver and kidney transplant program in the nation to exceed “better-than-expected” patient outcomes.
  • 2012 HHS Transplant Program Award (Silver level): One of five liver transplant programs nationwide honored for exemplary performance.
  • NIH Hepatitis B Research Network: Selected as one of 15 U.S. sites to advance care for chronic hepatitis B.
Research and Educational Opportunities

Through the CPMC Research Institute, our patients have access to clinical trials exploring therapies, devices, and antiviral agents in areas including:
