AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Transplant Hepatologist to support the growth of hepatology and liver transplant services in Colorado. This role includes pre-transplant evaluation, waitlist management, and comprehensive post-transplant care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will collaborate with transplant surgeons and primary care providers, manage immunosuppression, and participate in quality improvement and program development efforts within the Colorado

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Fellowship training in Transplant Hepatology.
• ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship.
• Current Colorado medical license or ability to obtain; DEA registration.
• Collaborative, patient-centered physician for multidisciplinary transplant care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive transplant hepatology care across the pre- and post-transplant continuum.
• Evaluate liver disease, assess transplant candidacy, and manage waitlist processes.
• Inpatient and outpatient care of hepatology and liver transplant recipients.
• Manage immunosuppression, allograft function, infections, and complications.
• Participate in transplant selection committee meetings and team planning.
• Collaborate with transplant surgeons, PCPs, and referring providers; contribute to program growth.
