Job summary

AdventHealth Medical Group in Colorado is seeking a fellowship-trained Transplant Hepatologist to grow and lead hepatology and liver transplant services in the Rocky Mountain region. You will manage comprehensive transplant care across the continuum, including pre- and post-transplant care and long-term follow-up.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship completed.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Training/experience in Transplant Hepatology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive transplant hepatology care across pre- and post-transplant continuum.
• Evaluate and manage patients with liver disease and end-stage liver disease being considered for liver transplant.
• Handle pre-transplant assessment, candidacy review, and waitlist management.
• Oversee inpatient and outpatient hepatology and liver transplant care, including immunosuppression management and transplant-related complications.
• Participate in transplant selection committee meetings and multidisciplinary planning; collaborate with surgeons and referring physicians.
