Job summary

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona seeks a highly qualified transplant hepatologist to join our expanding multidisciplinary program incorporating hepatology and liver transplantation.

Candidates must be board-certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, board-certified/board-eligible in Transplant Hepatology, with an interest in clinical service, research and education.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
• Board-certified/board-eligible in Transplant Hepatology.
• Interest in clinical service, research and education.
• Completion of training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology with further training in Transplant Hepatology.
• Research engagement in areas including AI, big data, equitable care, and transplant immunology.
• Educational engagement with teaching and mentoring medical learners.

Responsibilities

• Join and lead transplant hepatology services within a multidisciplinary program.
• Contribute to clinical care, education, and research activities.
• Participate in program development and quality initiatives for liver transplantation.
• Mentor and teach trainees and medical learners.
