Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive transplant care across pre- and post-transplant phases.

• Engage in clinical research and national presentations, potentially via a Master’s program.
• Teach residents, fellows, and medical students.

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Hepatologist to join a dynamic academic division specializing in Transplant Hepatology and Gastroenterology.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Providing comprehensive transplant care for patients with end-stage liver disease, encompassing all phases of pre- and post-transplant management.
• Managing a busy Advanced Liver Disease practice and performing procedures such as upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsies.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in selection committees, quality assurance, and educational activities.
• Engaging in clinical research, including presenting at national meetings and pursuing clinical research training, possibly through a Master's program.
• Teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students.

Qualifications Include

• Medical license valid in Arizona (or eligible)
• BC/BE in Hepatology
• Training in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship
