Job summary

Novant Health in Winston-Salem is seeking a Manager Transplant & Cellular Therapy to oversee HCT and cellular therapy operations on-site at the Cancer Hematology Clinic.

This role partners with TCT Leadership, directs teams including apheresis, lab, pharmacy, and nursing, ensures quality and accreditation readiness (FACT), and drives improvements while mentoring staff across two locations.

Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree, required. Health-Related Field or Nursing.
• Experience: 3 years of demonstrated leadership in Transplantation & Cellular Therapy, REQUIRED.
• Licensure/Certification: RN or Certification in Leadership, preferred.
• Ability to work with management teams and physicians; interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a two-location program.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of program operations, quality assurance, and process improvement for Hematopoietic Cell Transplant (HCT) and Cellular Therapy.
• Collaborate with TCT Leadership Team with counterparts across the Novant Health system.
• Lead initiatives and mentor teams to improve workflows and outcomes across two locations.
• Manage the TCT Coordinator and Cellular Therapy and Apheresis Teams, reporting to TCT Team and Quality Management.
• Liaise with FACT accreditation manager to align practices with FACT standards and inspections.
• Oversee audits/inspections for FACT, CIBMTR, and CAR T team processes.
• Evaluate department services to drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
