Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a full-time Night Shift Nursing Leader on BP3 transplant-focused unit. The role oversees delivery of care, staffing, and unit operations to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, guiding performance, and mentoring team members while maintaining regulatory compliance and evidence-based practice. Eligible PA RN license required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program‑Nursing (Required). Enrollment in BSN (Required) or BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience (Required).
• Licensed Registered Nurse in State of Pennsylvania.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and supervise delivery of nursing care on assigned unit.
• Develop and support unit improvements for high quality, safe patient care.
• Ensure highest level of care and maximize patient satisfaction.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise staff; assist with orientation.
• Conduct performance appraisals, scheduling, and staffing on the unit.
• Communicate patient care information to appropriate personnel.
• Contribute to nursing policies and goals; translate policies to patients and staff.
• Support Magnet philosophies and promote evidence-based practice.
• Mentor staff and ensure regulatory compliance.
