Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• 2-4 years of experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process indicators, instruments, gauges for temperatures, pressures and flows.
• Control or operate manifold and pumping systems to route liquids.
• Operate control panels to regulate process variables like temperature and pressure.
• Record and compile operating data, instrument readings, laboratory results.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs on pumps, valves, gauges and equipment.
• Assist and interact with technicians, maintenance and contractors.
• Patrol units to monitor oil in storage tanks and safety.
• Perform lab tests to check product qualities and grades.
• Complete daily lab work including sulfur testing and distillation.
• Calculate test result values using standard formulas.
• Offload tanker trucks into tanks as directed.
• Help with administrative work.
• Other duties as assigned.
