Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC, based in Michigan, is seeking a Capital Transmission Trimmer/Operator. This full-time, non-exempt role involves climbing and operating trim tools to remove trees, loading and unloading debris, and supporting safe operation of trucks and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to wear PPE and work safely around hazardous equipment.
• Ability to drive an approved company vehicle and travel to work sites.

Responsibilities

• Trims/removes trees by climbing or ground work using saws and trimmer lift truck.
• Loads/unloads logs and debris; feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walks caused by trimming.
• Directs traffic and protects work areas with barriers and warning signs.
• Maintains tools/equipment and trains new employees.
