Job summary

AutoNation in Florida is seeking an Advanced Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, driving customer loyalty through trusted service. You will diagnose, repair, and conduct multi-point inspections, document work, and collaborate with Parts and Service Advisors to ensure safe, reliable vehicles and a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years as an automotive technician preferred.
• Automotive technical training or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance according to repair orders, with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety/reliability improvements.
• Document work performed on each vehicle in the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of standard tools and stay current with factory bulletins and training.
