Qualificações

• 3+ years of automotive transmission experience.
• Ability to perform transmission R&R and rebuilds with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of powertrain, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
• Ford transmission/driveline certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair automatic and manual transmissions and drivetrain systems.
• Perform transmission R&R, rebuilds, reseals, clutch replacements, and torque converter repairs.
• Use OEM diagnostic tools, including Ford IDS/FDRS, to diagnose transmission and drivability concerns.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs.
• Document diagnostics and repairs accurately.
• Communicate repair needs and timelines with Service Advisors and Parts.
• Follow Ford repair procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Transmission Technician
