Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Project Coordinator to support the power delivery team.

The role focuses on project controls, cost, schedule, risk, reporting, and document management, interfacing with project managers, finance, engineering, and subconsultants. You will develop and maintain project controls, generate reports, monitor budgets and forecasts, and ensure compliance with Westwood standards.

Formación

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Power BI.
• Understanding of cost forecasting, scheduling logic, and risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate across teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize established project systems including Vantagepoint, PowerBI, IronClad, and Avetta.
• Support AR collections and electronic invoicing.
• Assist in developing and tracking budgets and forecasts comparing actual vs planned spend.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules with progress tracking.
• Produce consolidated monthly/weekly project reports.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and deliverables with version control.
• Ensure project controls standards and templates are followed.
• Support client meetings with minutes and action items.
• Coordinate with subconsultants on onboarding, progress, risk, and compliance.
• Collaborate on policy updates reflecting best engineering practices.

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an ambitious and talented professional to join our team as a Transmission Project Coordinator. This is an opportunity to join Westwood's highly experienced team dedicated to providing high-level engineering design services to our clients. This position will be impactful to the growth of our power delivery business, the transmission service group, and will be an opportunity for individuals to grow their career from a focus on project controls to project management, client account management, and future business development. This role is highly cross-functional; working closely with project managers, finance, engineering teams, and subconsultants.

This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing project control systems across cost, schedule, risk, reporting, and document management. This role ensures that project managers and leadership have timely, accurate, and integrated information to make informed decisions.

Requirements

Job Duties

• Utilize established project systems and processes including Vantagepoint, PowerBI, IronClad, and Avetta.
• Responsible for supporting AR collections and electronic invoicing.
• Support the development, monitoring and maintaining of budges and forecasts. Including tracking actual vs. planned spend.
• Support the development, monitoring and maintaining of project schedules. Including tracking actual vs. planned progress.
• Develop consolidated monthly/weekly project reports.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, incoming documents, and outgoing deliverables. Maintain version control and audit-ready records.
• Ensure project controls standards, templates, and processes are followed and support project managers in reviews of this compliance.
• Support client meetings through development of minutes of the meeting and action item notes upon request from Project Manager.
• Support the management of subconsultants with respect on on-boarding, project progress, risk management, and compliance with Westwood requirements.
• Collaborate with the department management to develop, evaluate, and implement new policies and procedures which reflect best engineering practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Power BI).
• Understanding of cost forecasting, scheduling logic, and risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across teams.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
