Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Transmissions Analyst in Birmingham, AL on-site for an 18+ month engagement. The role focuses on managing the capital project closeout process for transmission engineering projects, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, accounting, and construction teams to reconcile charges and finalize closeout after project in service.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree required from technical school/university.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering or Engineering Technology may be preferred.
• Experience with transmission capital projects is preferred.
• Experience in transmission substation/line design or construction is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of substation and transmission line design, construction, operation, or maintenance.
• Familiarity with materials used in transmission substation and line projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the capital project closeout process for the Transmission Engineering organization.
• Research and resolve variances between actuals and estimates.
• Close capital projects and track closeout status.
• Provide business reports and maintain documentation.
• Develop and leverage customer-focused relationships with stakeholders in design and construction.
