Job summary

VELCO – Vermont Electric Power Company – is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop and analyze transmission system improvement scenarios for the Vermont and New England region. You will perform planning studies (load flow, stability) and translate results into actionable recommendations for reliability and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2–7 years of experience with electrical planning tools, strong analytical abilities and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
• Experience with electrical system planning tools (PowerWorld/PSLF/PSS/E) required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to document planning studies.

Responsibilities
