The position operates from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a ½-hour unpaid lunch break. Attention to detail and reliability are valued as you perform washing and basic tooling tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2 years of previous Allison experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with production processes and operating basic tools/machinery.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay goal-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of department-specific safe work practices.
• Dependable with a steady work history and a commitment to long-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Wash internal and external transmission parts.
• Perform case washing duties.
• Operate sandblaster and media blaster.
• Unload machines and move materials between work areas.
• Maintain quality control and support process flow.
• Use hand tools and pneumatic tools as needed.
• Identify units accurately using work orders.
• Cross-train on alternate assignments as needed.
• Support other duties within the Allison Disassembly Area.
