Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair transmission systems, both energized and de-energized, across various job sites. The role involves travel, working at heights, and operating bucket trucks and other line equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety.

You will respond to outages, storms, and emergencies, and be prepared for demanding outdoor conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Foreman reports are an integral part of the team structure.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at different job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems with safety first.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers and other equipment.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in extreme weather and at heights.
• Be available for outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE.
