Job summary

Associated Power Structures Limited is seeking an experienced field role focused on transmission line stringing and tower erection readiness. The position requires on-site leadership to ensure schedules, safety, and material usage align with project plans.

The candidate will supervise stringing operations, verify sag charts, coordinate with quality and construction teams, and provide daily progress updates to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in transmission line stringing operations.
• Ability to read sag charts and understand technical requirements.
• Strong supervision and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of safety practices in stringing operations.
• Willing to work on-site with field teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tower erection is completed in all respects and the section is fully ready for stringing.
• Ensure material consumption aligns with the approved consumption statement.
• Ensure the drum schedule is strictly followed to minimize wastage.
• Identify LT/11kV/33kV feeder details and plan shutdown requirements in advance.
• Ensure required T&P is available to prevent gang idling.
• Ensure stringing work is carried out as per the approved sag chart.
• Clear work fronts/ROW for the stringing gang.
• Check quality and workmanship of stringing activities as per technical specifications.
• Ensure strung sections are snag-free and ready for JMC inspection.
• Coordinate with quality and construction teams for smooth execution.
• Prepare daily progress updates and escalate issues promptly.
