Job Description:
Summary:
The person in this position will work with multidisciplinary project teams providing transmission line design engineering and related technical expertise. Work will include preparing design documents for high-voltage transmission and distribution lines in the electric utility and renewable energy sectors. Tasks may include creating transmission line design models, developing wood and steel pole specifications, construction and materials specifications, and drilled pier foundation design and embedment depth calculations, as well as reviewing and producing design drawings, including plan and profiles, framing, and assembly.
This position also provides leadership opportunities including managing projects, coaching and mentoring less-experienced staff, providing technical leadership, and managing teams to meet clients' needs. The work may involve short-term out-of-town assignments.

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $89,000–$105,000/year. This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance.

Some work locations may feature rough terrain typical of construction sites and may also require entering and working in facilities that include limited accessibility, moving machinery, and other conditions typical of industrial facilities.
