Job summary

M&S Engineering, LLC in Spring Branch, TX is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to work on dynamic High Voltage AC/DC transmission projects including renewable energy infrastructure. The role involves detailed design from concept to construction for 4kV to 500kV lines, with opportunities to lead projects as needed.

You will apply your Civil/Mechanical/Electrical background, utilize PLS software, Sag10, AutoCAD or Microstation, and coordinate with clients and contractors to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelors in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years of post-graduation design experience.
Proficient with PLS software suite, Sag10, AutoCAD or Microstation, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Detail engineering and design of overhead transmission line projects from conceptual design through construction from 4kV to 500kV.
Detail design of underground transmission line projects from 69kV to 230kV.
Prepare cost estimates and cost statements for projects with limited details.
Prepare construction and material specifications and scope documents for tenders and contracts.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and permitting agencies.
