Qualifications

• Hands-on heavy line experience is required.

• Diesel repair experience is a plus.

EXPERIENCED TRANSMISSION & HEAVY LINE TECHNICIAN WANTED

Willy’s Transmissions and Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced Transmission / Heavy Line Technician to join our team in Kāneʻohe, Hawaii.

We’re seeking a skilled automotive technician with hands‑on experience in transmission repair, heavy line work, advanced diagnostics, and major mechanical repairs.

COMPENSATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and repair transmission, drivability, and performance issues.

• Transmission repair experience; 3+ years preferred.
  
• Strong transmission removal, installation, and repair skills.
  
• Experience performing heavy line and major mechanical repairs.
  
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
  
• Familiarity with professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
  
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high‑quality repair standards.
  
• Dependable work habits and strong attention to detail.
  
• Diesel repair experience is a plus.
  
• ASE certifications are preferred.
