Job summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-level Environmental Planner - Transmission focus in the Midwest, with a hybrid work model and flexible regional offices including Chicago and Detroit. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning, environmental science, geography, natural resources, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support environmental planning and compliance efforts for energy infrastructure projects, including siting, routing, permitting, and NEPA documentation.
• Manage early-stage due diligence for siting energy projects and associated infrastructure.
• Provide project management on small to mid-sized projects, including schedules, budgets, invoicing, and coordination with clients and subconsultants.
• Support environmental documents and entitlements for energy sector projects and multi-jurisdictional permitting.
