You will apply your mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering knowledge to real-world challenges and gain hands-on experience across engineering, operations, and business functions.

We seek students with strong academics, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Sophomore status or higher preferred.
• Strong academic background and teamwork skills encouraged.
• Experience using design software such as PLS-CADD or SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design high voltage transmission line facilities in support of AES Ohio system improvements.
• Participate in field visits to verify topography, obstacles, and meet with construction crews.
• Update discrepancies between prints/schematics, databases and system models.
• Assist across engineering, operations, and business functions during the internship.
